PLEASE READ before booking MTAS GNP shuttles:
Park regulations place limits on commercial shuttles...
MTAS can transport passengers to the following areas only:
West side: West Glacier, Apgar Village area, Lake McDonald Lodge, Fish Creek area, Polebridge, Bowman Lake, Kintla Lake
East Side: most areas, including East Glacier/Glacier Park Lodge, Two Medicine, and Many Glacier
Therefore: To visit points on Going-to-the-Sun Road beyond Avalanche Creek, up to Logan Pass and down the "east side" to Rising Sun Campground/picnic area, visitors should plan to utilize the park's free shuttle system, or, book either the Red Bus Tours or Sun Tours (interpretive tours). Red Bus Tours & Sun Tours must be reserved separately in advance.).

GLACIER DAY TRIP SHUTTLE

Enjoy a full day in the park!
The itinerary: Shared shuttles or private groups travel from Missoula to the "west side" of the park, to Apgar Visitor Center or as far up Going-to-the Sun Road as Lake McDonald Lodge.* Groups or individuals are then free to explore the park on their own.** The Shuttle remains in or near the park, 'on-call' for your group, and returns to Missoula per pre-determined schedule.
Booking your seats (shared shuttling):
Booked on a first-come, first-served basis; remaining seats offered to the public after the first booking.
$150 deposit fee applies for bookings, applied at checkout.
Final booking fees determined by number of seats filled. Passengers will be notified 24 hours or more prior to departure. See Policies for cancellations and refunds.
INCLUDES park entry fee.
Shared Shuttle - Schedule and Rates
Full day trip
Three (3) hours travel time (one way) + approximately 6 hours time in the park; shuttle remains on-site.
Pick up location in Missoula: TBD/your location
7:00 AM from Missoula; arrives at Apgar about 10:00AM;
5:00 PM from Apgar Village; arrives in by Missoula 8:00PM
*times may be adjusted depending on availability
PRIVATE GLACIER DAY TRIP SHUTTLE
Reserve the whole shuttle for your group! Begin at the park's west side, with additional touring options and/or time allowed.*
Groups or individuals are then free to explore the park on their own.** The Shuttle remains in or near the park, 'on-call' for your group, and returns to Missoula per pre-determined schedule. Includes park entry fee (passengers must remain within park boundaries).
*Park regulations limit The Shuttle's travel on Going To The Sun Road between Lake McDonald Lodge (west side) and Rising Sun CG/picnic area (east side). To visit points beyond Avalanche Creek, up to Logan Pass and down the "east side" to Rising Sun Campground/picnic area, visitors should plan to utilize the park's free shuttle system, or, book either the Red Bus Tours or Sun Tours (interpretive tours).

** MTAS is not permitted to transport passengers on Going-to-the-Sun Road from Avalanche Creek on the west side to the Rising Sun Campground on the east side. Passengers must connect with one or more of the park's free shuttles/interpretive shuttle services (see below) to tour this portion of the park.
